Quiet down your mitigation system with the 4″ alpha muffler, a compact inline noise reducer from Alpha86. This muffler installs on the exhaust side of the fan and uses an integrated airflow arrow so you can orient it correctly the first time. With an overall footprint of about 6″ x 6″ x 7″, it’s roughly half the size of many traditional options, making it easier to fit in tight runs without cluttering the exterior look.

Use it as a radon muffler anywhere above the fan or add a simple rain guard at the termination using a scrap piece of PVC. Great for retrofits and new installs, the alpha muffler helps tame fan exhaust sound while keeping routing flexible. Place it where you have room, keep connections square, and enjoy a quieter, cleaner-looking system.
