Measure radon levels with a short term test kit or continuous radon monitor. Short term charcoal canisters are the most common. The EPA recommends using a charcoal test kit every two years to ensure the radon level in your home is below actionable levels. Digital radon monitors are becoming more prevalent, some–like the EcoQube–have a companion smartphone app to measure radon levels. Professional grade tools are not cost effective when you’re only doing a single radon system. Using hCRMs and smoke bottles to measure your pressure field are about the best you can do.
