This system requires 120 VAC to the Meter Box and 120 VAC to the Fan, and the installer is required to use water tight fitting/connection to the NEMA4 Box to maintain its integrity and follow local Electrical Codes.
Meter indicator boxes were developed in the 1990s for use on military bases. The intent was to provide an outdoor indicator of a running radon fan system*. It is recommended that these boxes be installed by a LICENSED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR under supervision of a CERTIFIED RADON PROFESSIONAL. ALWAYS FOLLOW LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES. CORDS LIMITED TO 6’.
