Meter indicator boxes were developed in the 1990s for use on military bases.  The intent was to provide an outdoor indicator of a running radon fan system*.  It is recommended that these boxes be installed by a LICENSED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR under supervision of a CERTIFIED RADON PROFESSIONAL.  ALWAYS FOLLOW LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES.  CORDS LIMITED TO 6’.  NEVER RUN CORDS THROUGH WALLS WITHOUT CONDUIT.  FOLLOW ANSI/AARST RADON STANDARDS & NEC WHEN NO LOCAL CODES ARE PRESENT
