Also known as “Vapor Mat”

1″ thick by 12″ wide by 45′ long

To install the matting, it is laid in a continuous loop around the interior of the foundation. The mat comes in 45 foot lengths that can be overlapped and spliced to form a continuous air flow channel around the perimeter. Corners are handled similarly. The ease of cutting and fitting the matrix eliminates the need for expensive fittings, thereby reducing the overall cost of the system.

Concrete is poured directly over the durable mat material.  T-risers allow for gas to flow from underneath the slab.  A variety of connectors and vents are available for special circumstances.  Steel sleeves allow for mat to be placed under heavy footers.

Don’t forget soil gas staples needed to secure the mat to the soil during the pouring/curing process.  Place one approximately every three feet.
