KTA 2.0 Alarm Power Box
KTA 2.0 Alarm Power Box
$288.58
KTA 2.0 Low Voltage Radon Alarm Only
The power supply box with LED indicators and audible alarm can be mounted on any wall inside the home where a GFCI outlet can be found. From here, the two-conductor cable can easily be routed up to 100 feet away to the fan (even outside). This power supply is backwards compatible with KTA 1.0 systems—same fan, same cord used. Due to the power being less than 50 volts, jurisdictions following US electrical code rarely require electrical permits–even when penetrating an exterior wall. The easy-to-read LED indicator meets ANSI/AARST Standard SGM-SF-2023. The display gives an easy to see indication of current fan performance and the audible alarm alerts the homeowner when a malfunction may be occurring. Best placements are in garages and mechanical rooms (cord can penetrate any wall–except a firewall–without added conduit between fan and box).
